What is the Equity Analyst Internship Program?
The Equity Analyst internship is a 10 week summer program that exposes you to the financial markets through classroom instruction, individual and group projects and shadowing opportunities. At the end of the internship, you will become comfortable with the analysis of financial statements and the events that impact capital markets.
What does an Equity Analyst intern do at Spot?
Our Equity Analyst interns work closely with experienced analysts to proactively stay abreast of industry news, analyzing company fundamentals and identifying catalysts to determine their impact on equity valuations and underlying stock volatility. You will have the opportunity to identify company and sector-specific drivers while utilizing fundamental valuation skills to provide impacting research and generate trading ideas as a sector generalist.

What skills/background do you need?
We are looking for juniors pursing a bachelor’s degree in Business or Economics or a related field who possess exceptional quantitative skills. You should have a passion for the markets, and an aptitude for digesting and analyzing new market-based information quickly and succinctly.
