What is the Development Internship Program?

The Development internship is a 10 week summer program that exposes you to the world of technology and trading. At the end of the internship, you will have a fundamental understanding of trading technology and the financial markets.

What does a Development Intern do at Spot?

As an intern, you will be working in teams alongside traders, expert developers, and other technologists solving complex and interesting problems. You will be writing software that touches upon just about every area of Computer Science, including data storage, information retrieval, algorithm optimization, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, user interface design, etc.

What skills/background do you need?

We are looking for juniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering who show strong problem solving skills and have a solid understanding of computer science principles. You should have experience programming in C#, C++ or Java. A passion for creating innovative software solutions and working in teams is a distinct advantage.
